Cuisine Wat Damnak

Siem Reap

Housed in a traditional Cambodian wooden house in the heart of Siem Reap’s Wat Damnak village, Cuisine Wat Damnak offers three distinct dining experiences. Downstairs, the modern dining room is a stylish, air-conditioned space decorated with local artwork and handicrafts. The fan-cooled upstairs retains the wooden house’s traditional Cambodian country charm, with an ambiance that complements the menu. Outside, the softly lit garden is the perfect place to appreciate balmy Cambodian evenings, surrounded by lush tropical greenery and local herbs.

During this Special Time

Siem Reap is closed till further notice

Date: 24th May 2021

This is not how I imagined Cuisine Wat Damnak’s ten years anniversary. It is with great sadness that after a very tough year we have decided to permanently close the restaurant.

I would like to thank the team for their commitment.

I would like to thank Chhay, my business partner, for jumping in and making it happen in Phnom Penh.

I would like to thank the suppliers for getting us the best products and bearing with my Cambodian pronunciation.

I would like to thank every one who have supported us for the paste ten years: the ones who where here when we had no one, the ones who kept coming when we were busy and slightly losing control, the ones who did not give up on us over that last difficult year.

Last but not least, I would like to thank Carole, my partner, who accepted to ride the great roller-coaster of the restaurant industry while she had no clue what she was getting into.

See you at Cuisine Wat Damnak – Phnom Penh!
